The Challenges:
- The white insulation from the previous line set created pinholes in the copper, making it almost impossible to find the leak.
- Job requires flared fittings.
The Solutions:
- Python insulation much more durable than other line sets.
- No flaring required in this mini-split installation.
- Much easier to bend. Installation much quicker running through crawlspaces.
The Benefits:
- Lightweight- much easier to carry up ladders.
- No brazing or flaring necessary in mini split applications.
- Very easy to get onto the valve/fitting in tight locations when you use a swage tool to expand the line set.
