CASE STUDY #117:
Winnipeg, Manitoba

“Switching to Python line sets has been a game-changer for our operations. The lightweight nature of the tubing has significantly reduced the physical strain on our team during installation, making the job quicker and less labor-intensive. Unlike copper, Python tubing is much more resilient and there’s far less risk of damaging the lines during handling or installation, which means fewer delays and reworks.”

Project Details:
  • Completion: 2024
  • Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, CAN
  • Project Type: Residential
  • Size:
  • Application: Split System
  • Contractor: Allied Heating and Cooling
  • Supplier Rep: Kelvin Richards / Robinson Supply
The Challenges:
  • Copper tubing sometimes gets kinked, scratched, or damaged during installation.
  • Partial rolls of copper usually get left in the back of trucks, get damaged, and eventually sold as scrap.
The Solutions:
  • Python is kink resistant and doesn’t show wear when drug through concrete holes during install.
  • Purchasing of a 300′ roll of Python reduces waste and allows installers to spend more time in the field instead of coming back to the shop to get more product.
The Benefits:
  • Reduced labor costs from quicker install time.
  • Minimizes risk of injury as Python is much lighter and easier to work with.
  • Easy to transport and store. More efficient organization and a cleaner, safer work space.
  • Maximum material utilization for lowered costs.
